Those who love Israel are blessed and those who hate Zion are shamed and cursed:
And I will make you a great nation (Israel), and I will bless you, and make your name great…and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. (Genesis 12:2-3)

May all who hate Zion be put to shame and turned backward. (Psalm 129:5)

Israel is the apple of God’s eye:
For thus says the LORD of hosts, “After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you (Israel), for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.” (Zechariah 2:8)

Conspiracy against the nation of Israel and God’s people:
O God, do not remain quiet; do not be silent and, O God, do not be still. For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, and those who hate You have exalted themselves. They make shrewd plans against Your people, and conspire together against Your treasured ones. They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.” For they have conspired together with one mind; against You (God) they make a covenant…Fill their faces with dishonor, that they may seek Your name, O LORD…(Psalm 83:1-5; 16)

God is the Maker of Israel:
Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing; let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation. (Psalm 149:2-4)

God is the Father of Israel:
“At that time,” declares the LORD, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.” (Jeremiah 31:1)

“And with weeping they shall come, and by supplication I will lead them; I will make them walk by streams of waters, on a straight path in which they will not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn.” (Jeremiah 31:9)

God is good to Israel:
Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart! (Psalm 73:1)

God is enthroned on the praises of Israel:
Yet You are holy, O You who are enthroned upon the praises of Israel. In You our fathers trusted; they trusted and You delivered them. (Psalm 22:3-4)

God will redeem Israel:
O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD is loving kindness, and with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities. (Psalm 130:7-8)

But now, thus says the LORD, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!” (Isaiah 43:1)

God will strengthen and make peace within Israel:
Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you. He makes peace in your borders; He satisfies you with the finest of the wheat. (Psalm 147:12-14)

God invites repentance and He will love and heal Israel:
Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from them. I will be like the dew to Israel; He will blossom like the lily…(Hosea 14:1, 4, 5a)

God gathers the outcasts of Israel and will heal the wounded:
The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:2-3)

Those who truly belong to the Lord will honor Israel:
This one will say, ‘I am the LORD’S’; and that one will call on the name of Jacob; and another will write on his hand, ‘Belonging to the LORD,’ and will name Israel’s name with honor. (Isaiah 44:5)

Zion is to be explored and shared with the next generation:
Walk about Zion and go around her; count her towers; consider her ramparts; go through her palaces, that you may tell it to the next generation. (Psalm 48:12-13)

Jerusalem and Israel will be rebuilt:
”I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving-kindness. Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel!” (Jeremiah 31:3b-4a)

I will establish for them a renowned planting place, and they will not again be victims of famine in the land, and they will not endure the insults of the nations anymore. (Ezekiel 34:29)

The Lord dwells in Jerusalem:
Blessed be the LORD from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD! (Psalm 135:21)

For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it. (Psalm 132:13-14)

God is in the midst of Israel and will pour out His Spirit on all mankind in the latter days:
“Thus you will know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and there is no other; and My people will never be put to shame…I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” (Joel 2:27-29)

God will show His Glory in Israel:
“You are My Servant, Israel, in Whom I will show My glory.” (Isaiah 49:3)

Ascribe strength to God; His majesty is over Israel and His strength is in the skies. O God, You are awesome from Your sanctuary. The God of Israel Himself gives strength and power to the people. Blessed be God! (Psalm 68:34-35)

“ ‘For I’, declares the LORD, ‘will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ” (Zechariah 2:5)

The Word of the Lord will be proclaimed from Jerusalem:
…In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains…and all the nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And He (God) will judge between the nations…(Isaiah 2:2-3, 4a)

God will restore Zion:
Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, they shout joyfully together; for they will see with their own eyes when the LORD restores Zion. (Isaiah 52:8)

“And they will call you the city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Whereas you have been forsaken and hated with no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, a joy from generation to generation.” (Isaiah 60:14b-15)

NEW TESTAMENT:

The birth of the King of the Jews, Jesus Christ:
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.” (Matthew 2:1-2)

Jesus, King of Israel, came to Jerusalem:
…When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, (they) took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, “ Hosanna! BLESSED IS HE THAT COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, even the King of Israel.” (John 12:12-13)

Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace and Lord of Israel:
“The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all).” (Acts 10:36)

Jesus is the Way to the Father:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6)

Jesus prays for all believers:
“That they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe You sent Me.” (John 17:21)

Promise that all of Israel will be saved:
For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery – so that you will not be wise in your own estimation – that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all of Israel will be saved…(Romans 11:25-26a)

The Remnant of the 144,000 Jews that come out of the tribulation:
And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty- four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel. (Revelation 7:4)

Prophecy regarding the future of the New Jerusalem:
And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper. It had a great and high wall with twelve gates…and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. (Revelation 21:10-12)
